the staff was very nice and very helpful.
the room was not renovated and looked dirty although it was clean. The breakfast was very poor : timbits from Tim Hortons and bagels and that is it.

The management was wonderful, and the hotel is just off Stanley, so it's pretty close to the falls. The bed was firm, the sheets were crisp and clean, the floor was passable, the bathroom clean as can be and the water hot with good water pressure. There was an A.C. unit on the wall, so we could cool the room, the wifi was easy to set up, and by the time we settled down around 11 that night the hotel was surprisingly quiet. I didn't have the chance to swim, but I would have. It looked clean and other guests said it was refreshingly cool.
The room had a worn air to it, like it had given up the fight. There was an invasion of those triangle shaped flies (in between fruit flies and house flies in size), a crack in the wall, and other signs of hard wear and tear on the room. Linens were scanty in the bathroom, with only 2 towels for 2 people, one hand towel, and no mat for in front of the shower. Our room also reeked of smoke despite being a non smoking room. When we got there in early evening it was extremely loud with kids shouting, and we reaized the sound proofing wasminimalistic to nonexistant. We were worried that it would keepus up, but being kids they were asleep long before us and it turned into a nonissue.

No breakfast, even though we paid for it. Poor WiFi signal, and the password changed during our stay. Pool not operating.

The staff were friendly and the beds were comfy. The location was particularly good, with the 175-Foot Tall Ferris Wheel just a pleasant stroll away from the hotel.

Comfort of the room and presence of all necessities ( is fridge, microwave, cable...)
Bathroom things could be more accomodating such as more towels, shampoos and a better blow dryer

Not far from the falls. You can go walking.
Be careful. Altough we have the breakfast included they said that it was wrong in booking, they had warbed but still appears to include breakfast. Finally, after protesting, they gave us 10 $ for having breakfast outside. Everything smelled of curry, a little nasty. The room was not renovated and looked dirty although it was more less clean.

The staff was wonderful. They were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. It was within an easy walk to the Clifton Hill tourist area. What really sold me on the Marco Polo Inn was the friendliness of the person I contacted re the initial reservation. She was very reassuring.
Unfortunately, the jacuzzi was not operational. There were not enough electrical outlets to plug our laptop and cell phone chargers into.
